To begin resolving my original proposal, I built a 1 to 100 model. I have used three materials. The floor spans within the model are made from craft-card. The external 'deteriorating' walls are in a grey card, and the context in white mount board.
Photo 1: Shows the overall completed model. The context (mount board part) can be taken off to show the insides of the model.
Photo 2: Shows the restaurant space of the fourth floor, along with the bridge across the theatre space on the fifth floor. Also visible are the two stories of seats hung from the carved floors.
Photo 3:A view from the ground floor, Forest Mill courtyard entrance. Visible are the carved floors spanning the many shapes and angles The ticket office and hung seats creating an intensive theatre space can be seen as well.
