My original idea was to carve a space in the existing structure and insert a structure within. From this model I liked the inserted structure which would hold the theatre space. However, I thought the carved element of the building wasn't strong enough. I want to portray an alien like destruction of the strucutre. Forest Mill is a scary place, with the abandoned character, therefore the ruthless decay of the structure from within should also have an element of fear and tension.
